# QR Easy vs Time Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Time Notes at every 3 months against QR Easy's every 16 months. QR Easy's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

QR Easy ships an update every 16 months, Time Notes every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
