The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DermSwipe at none against FNP's 2. FNP's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 26 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FNP sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. DermSwipe asks for nothing beyond the download.

FNP holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FNP has 152 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
