# Everykey vs Proton Pass

The clearest difference is rating: Proton Pass at 4.8 against Everykey's 4.2. Proton Pass also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 44%) and ratings volume (8.7K vs 196). Everykey's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proton Pass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $35.90 per year. Everykey asks for nothing beyond the download.

Proton Pass holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proton Pass has 8.7K ratings behind it against 196, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Everykey's written reviews are positive against 67% of Proton Pass's.
