# Comic Strip vs Cartoon Yourself

The clearest difference is rating: Comic Strip at 4.5 against Cartoon Yourself's 3.9. Comic Strip also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (2K vs 65). Cartoon Yourself's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 34%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cartoon Yourself sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Comic Strip asks for nothing beyond the download.

Comic Strip holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comic Strip has 2K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Comic Strip's written reviews are positive against 44% of Cartoon Yourself's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
