# Pre vs College Pre

The clearest difference is rating: College Pre at 4.5 against Pre's 3.3. College Pre also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 3). Pre's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pre sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and College Pre sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

College Pre holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: College Pre has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
