# MXM vs Call Recorder with Transcript

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MXM at 100% against Call Recorder with Transcript's 0%. MXM also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). Call Recorder with Transcript's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MXM sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Call Recorder with Transcript sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Call Recorder with Transcript holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Call Recorder with Transcript has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MXM's written reviews are positive against 0% of Call Recorder with Transcript's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
