# Altimeter vs Radar Flow

The clearest difference is ads: Radar Flow at none against Altimeter's shown. Radar Flow also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Altimeter's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Altimeter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Radar Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Radar Flow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Altimeter has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Altimeter ships an update every 6 months, Radar Flow weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
