# Evolution vs Evolution Simulator 3D

The clearest difference is update cadence: Evolution Simulator 3D at every 9 days against Evolution's every 2 months. Evolution Simulator 3D also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). Evolution's advantage is ratings volume (549 vs 10) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Evolution costs $1.99 and Evolution Simulator 3D $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evolution has 549 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Evolution's written reviews are positive against 100% of Evolution Simulator 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Evolution ships an update every 2 months, Evolution Simulator 3D every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
