# Actions vs Watchsmith

The clearest difference is rating: Actions at 4.6 against Watchsmith's 3.9. Actions also leads on ratings volume (9.8K vs 566) and review sentiment (51% vs 38%). Watchsmith's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Actions sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Watchsmith sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Actions holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Actions has 9.8K ratings behind it against 566, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Actions's written reviews are positive against 38% of Watchsmith's.

Actions ships an update fortnightly, Watchsmith every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
