# myPass vs PassNote

The clearest difference is ads: PassNote at none against myPass's shown. myPass's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myPass sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PassNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

myPass ships an update every 3 weeks, PassNote every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
