# Reading Tracker vs Chibook

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chibook at every 5 days against Reading Tracker's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reading Tracker sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Chibook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reading Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Chibook every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
