# HoneyDew vs Milestone

The clearest difference is rating: Milestone at 5.0 against HoneyDew's 4.1. Milestone also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). HoneyDew's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HoneyDew sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Milestone sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Milestone holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HoneyDew has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of HoneyDew's written reviews are positive against 100% of Milestone's.

HoneyDew ships an update every 6 weeks, Milestone every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
