# Sim DATA Calculator vs Notion Calendar

The clearest difference is rating: Notion Calendar at 4.7 against Sim DATA Calculator's 3.3. Notion Calendar also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (7.7K vs 8). Sim DATA Calculator's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Notion Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notion Calendar has 7.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Sim DATA Calculator's written reviews are positive against 39% of Notion Calendar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sim DATA Calculator ships an update every 3 months, Notion Calendar fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
