# GOWOD vs FlexQ8

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FlexQ8 at none against GOWOD's 5. FlexQ8 also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.4). GOWOD's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GOWOD sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $11.49 per month. FlexQ8 asks for nothing beyond the download.

FlexQ8 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GOWOD has 3.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GOWOD ships an update weekly, FlexQ8 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
