# Numerologic vs AstroMate

The clearest difference is rating: AstroMate at 4.6 against Numerologic's 2.7. AstroMate also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (230 vs 3). Numerologic's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (33% vs 20%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Numerologic sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and AstroMate sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AstroMate holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AstroMate has 230 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Numerologic's written reviews are positive against 20% of AstroMate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Numerologic ships an update every 6 weeks, AstroMate every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
