# HiGrade vs tCheck

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HiGrade at 84% against tCheck's 25%. HiGrade also leads on ratings volume (920 vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). tCheck's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HiGrade sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. tCheck asks for nothing beyond the download.

tCheck holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HiGrade has 920 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of HiGrade's written reviews are positive against 25% of tCheck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HiGrade ships an update every 3 weeks, tCheck every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
