# CrackDAT Dental Admission Test vs Kodent

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kodent at every 5 days against CrackDAT Dental Admission Test's every 3 months. Kodent also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). CrackDAT Dental Admission Test's advantage is review sentiment (93% vs 67%) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kodent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrackDAT Dental Admission Test has 88 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of CrackDAT Dental Admission Test's written reviews are positive against 67% of Kodent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
