# Works Café vs Loop

Works Café and Loop both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Loop's written reviews are positive against 45% of Works Café's. Works Café's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 39). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Works Café against 4.9 for Loop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Works Café has 1.8K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 45% of Works Café's written reviews are positive against 100% of Loop's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
