# CardSnacks vs E

The clearest difference is rating: CardSnacks at 4.9 against E's 4.4. CardSnacks also leads on ratings volume (65K vs 19) and device support (3 vs 1). E's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CardSnacks sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and E sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CardSnacks holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CardSnacks has 65K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CardSnacks ships an update every 2 weeks, E every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
