# Night Light vs Vanity

The clearest difference is ads: Vanity at none against Night Light's shown. Vanity also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 months). Night Light's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Night Light sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vanity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Night Light ships an update every 3 months, Vanity daily. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
