# MZLA vs OSLab

The clearest difference is update cadence: OSLab at every 3 months against MZLA's every 8 months. OSLab also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MZLA ships an update every 8 months, OSLab every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
