# SmartHome vs Cloud Intelligence

The clearest difference is rating: Cloud Intelligence at 4.5 against SmartHome's 2.0. Cloud Intelligence also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 21%) and ratings volume (8.1K vs 4). SmartHome's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cloud Intelligence holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloud Intelligence has 8.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of SmartHome's written reviews are positive against 59% of Cloud Intelligence's.

SmartHome ships an update every 2 months, Cloud Intelligence every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
