# Fixando vs OSCAR

The clearest difference is rating: OSCAR at 4.7 against Fixando's 4.3. OSCAR also leads on ratings volume (323 vs 31). Fixando's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 16%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OSCAR holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OSCAR has 323 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Fixando's written reviews are positive against 16% of OSCAR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
