# PIRS vs After Post

The clearest difference is update cadence: After Post at every 5 weeks against PIRS's every 3 months. PIRS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PIRS ships an update every 3 months, After Post every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
