# Live XYZ vs Top Box

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Live XYZ at none against Top Box's 2. Live XYZ also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 65%). Top Box's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Top Box sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $27.49 per year. Live XYZ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Top Box holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 81 and 51 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Live XYZ's written reviews are positive against 65% of Top Box's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live XYZ ships an update monthly, Top Box every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
