# TrackFast vs Security Home

The clearest difference is rating: Security Home at 4.3 against TrackFast's 3.7. Security Home also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 6). TrackFast's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Security Home sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. TrackFast asks for nothing beyond the download.

Security Home holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Home has 11K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TrackFast ships an update monthly, Security Home every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
