# HyperDrone Racing vs Legacy Bot Controller

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HyperDrone Racing at 100% against Legacy Bot Controller's 50%. HyperDrone Racing also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). Legacy Bot Controller's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (35 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Legacy Bot Controller sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. HyperDrone Racing asks for nothing beyond the download.

Legacy Bot Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Legacy Bot Controller has 35 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of HyperDrone Racing's written reviews are positive against 50% of Legacy Bot Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
