# Lokal vs Josti

The clearest difference is ads: Lokal at none against Josti's shown. Lokal also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (176 vs 4). Josti's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Lokal against 5.0 for Josti. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lokal has 176 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
