# GreenApp vs Hunter BTT

The clearest difference is update cadence: GreenApp at every 4 weeks against Hunter BTT's every 6 months. GreenApp also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.8) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). Hunter BTT's advantage is ratings volume (115 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GreenApp holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hunter BTT has 115 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of GreenApp's written reviews are positive against 17% of Hunter BTT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GreenApp ships an update every 4 weeks, Hunter BTT every 6 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
