# MapWalker vs SeaDays

The clearest difference is price: SeaDays at Free against MapWalker's $2.99. SeaDays also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). MapWalker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

SeaDays is free to download; MapWalker costs $2.99 up front. MapWalker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SeaDays sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MapWalker ships an update every 2 months, SeaDays fortnightly. Both last shipped on September 30, 2026.
