# Phase Spur vs Cave Runner 2D

The clearest difference is rating: Phase Spur at 5.0 against Cave Runner 2D's 3.0. Phase Spur also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Cave Runner 2D's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0).
