# Winamax Live vs SFR TV

The clearest difference is rating: SFR TV at 3.7 against Winamax Live's 3.0. SFR TV also leads on ratings volume (39 vs 2). Winamax Live's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SFR TV holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SFR TV has 39 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Winamax Live's written reviews are positive against 63% of SFR TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
