# MobileKey vs Weekly Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Weekly Planner at 4.5 against MobileKey's 1.0. Weekly Planner also leads on review sentiment (69% vs 32%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). MobileKey's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weekly Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. MobileKey asks for nothing beyond the download.

Weekly Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weekly Planner has 34 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of MobileKey's written reviews are positive against 69% of Weekly Planner's.

MobileKey ships an update every 3 months, Weekly Planner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
