# JU vs ekey bionyx

The clearest difference is rating: ekey bionyx at 4.2 against JU's 1.0. ekey bionyx also leads on ratings volume (19 vs 1). JU's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ekey bionyx holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ekey bionyx has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of JU's written reviews are positive against 0% of ekey bionyx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JU ships an update every 3 months, ekey bionyx every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
