# BT Link vs Taxim Driver

BT Link and Taxim Driver both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 31% of Taxim Driver's written reviews are positive against 0% of BT Link's. Taxim Driver also leads on ratings volume (819 vs 15). BT Link's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BT Link holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taxim Driver has 819 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of BT Link's written reviews are positive against 31% of Taxim Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BT Link ships an update every 2 weeks, Taxim Driver every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
