# Current Week vs NFC Tools

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Current Week at 100% against NFC Tools's 51%. NFC Tools's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Current Week sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NFC Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NFC Tools holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NFC Tools has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Current Week's written reviews are positive against 51% of NFC Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Current Week ships an update every 3 months, NFC Tools every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
