# Flight Information Global vs Air Traffic

The clearest difference is rating: Flight Information Global at 4.7 against Air Traffic's 4.1. Flight Information Global also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 9). Air Traffic's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 42%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Information Global sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Air Traffic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Information Global holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Information Global has 1.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Flight Information Global's written reviews are positive against 80% of Air Traffic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flight Information Global ships an update weekly, Air Traffic every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
