# Eastside vs DLAC

The clearest difference is rating: Eastside at 5.0 against DLAC's 4.8. Eastside also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.5). DLAC's advantage is ratings volume (47 vs 4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eastside holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DLAC has 47 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Eastside ships an update every 2 months, DLAC monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
