# UNIF vs The Sak

The clearest difference is ads: The Sak at none against UNIF's shown. The Sak also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). UNIF's advantage is ratings volume (768 vs 82) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for UNIF against 4.9 for The Sak. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UNIF has 768 ratings behind it against 82, so its average is the more settled of the two.

UNIF ships an update every 3 weeks, The Sak weekly. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
