# LITEdge vs RAB Lightcloud Blue

The clearest difference is rating: LITEdge at 4.7 against RAB Lightcloud Blue's 3.2. LITEdge also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 21) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). RAB Lightcloud Blue's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 20%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LITEdge holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LITEdge has 1.1K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of LITEdge's written reviews are positive against 43% of RAB Lightcloud Blue's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LITEdge ships an update every 11 months, RAB Lightcloud Blue every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
