# PianoStream vs Sheet Show

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sheet Show at free with in-app purchases against PianoStream's subscription. Sheet Show also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). PianoStream's advantage is chart position (#186 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PianoStream sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Sheet Show sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PianoStream ships an update every 2 months, Sheet Show every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
