# UX vs Diem

The clearest difference is rating: Diem at 5.0 against UX's 3.0. Diem also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 23 months). UX's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Diem sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diem holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively.

UX ships an update every 23 months, Diem weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
