# Notion vs Milanote

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Notion at 91K against Milanote's 4K. Notion also leads on chart position (#48 vs unranked) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Milanote's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notion sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Milanote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Notion against 4.7 for Milanote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notion has 91K ratings behind it against 4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of Notion's written reviews are positive against 60% of Milanote's.

Notion ships an update every 3 days, Milanote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
