# White Border vs Printax

The clearest difference is rating: Printax at 5.0 against White Border's 4.2. Printax also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). White Border's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. White Border sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Printax sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Printax holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: White Border has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

White Border ships an update fortnightly, Printax every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
