# SlimSpace vs PDF NOW

The clearest difference is ads: PDF NOW at none against SlimSpace's shown. PDF NOW also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%). SlimSpace's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 32). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SlimSpace sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.69 per 7 days and PDF NOW sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for SlimSpace against 4.5 for PDF NOW. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SlimSpace has 1K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of SlimSpace's written reviews are positive against 100% of PDF NOW's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
