# SlimSpace vs Penwok

The clearest difference is ads: Penwok at none against SlimSpace's shown. Penwok also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). SlimSpace's advantage is ratings volume (998 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SlimSpace sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.69 per 7 days and Penwok sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $69.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Penwok holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SlimSpace has 998 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SlimSpace ships an update every 2 weeks, Penwok fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
