# Network vs occasion

The clearest difference is rating: Network at 4.8 against occasion's 4.2. Network also leads on review sentiment (51% vs 33%) and ratings volume (51 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Network holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Network has 51 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Network's written reviews are positive against 33% of occasion's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
