# Ghostcircle (Ghost Circle) vs Ghost Detector

The clearest difference is rating: Ghost Detector at 4.5 against Ghostcircle (Ghost Circle)'s 1.0. Ghost Detector also leads on ratings volume (6.1K vs 1). Ghostcircle (Ghost Circle)'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ghostcircle (Ghost Circle) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ghost Detector sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ghost Detector holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ghost Detector has 6.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Ghostcircle (Ghost Circle)'s written reviews are positive against 64% of Ghost Detector's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ghostcircle (Ghost Circle) ships an update every 3 months, Ghost Detector every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
