# HIDIVE vs D&D Beyond

The clearest difference is rating: D&D Beyond at 4.7 against HIDIVE's 2.0. D&D Beyond also leads on review sentiment (54% vs 13%) and ratings volume (91K vs 5.2K). HIDIVE's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HIDIVE sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and D&D Beyond sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

D&D Beyond holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: D&D Beyond has 91K ratings behind it against 5.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
