# HIDIVE vs Mech+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mech+ at 75% against HIDIVE's 13%. Mech+ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.0). HIDIVE's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 6) and chart position (#42 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HIDIVE sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Mech+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mech+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HIDIVE has 5.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of HIDIVE's written reviews are positive against 75% of Mech+'s.

HIDIVE ships an update every 2 months, Mech+ every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
